As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to lead requirements gathering, process optimization, and solution design for complex healthcare technology projects.

Role Overview:

The Senior BSA will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, clinical teams, and technical developers. You’ll play a critical role in translating business needs into system requirements, ensuring that solutions are compliant, efficient, and aligned with healthcare best practices.

This role is ideal for someone who has deep knowledge of healthcare operations and technology systems, with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead discovery sessions with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to understand business needs.

- Analyze current workflows and systems to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.

- Develop detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps.

- Collaborate with developers and architects to design and implement scalable solutions.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PHIPA).

- Support testing, validation, and deployment activities, including UAT coordination.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts and project team members.

- Serve as a subject matter expert for healthcare systems and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Management, or related field.

10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with at least 5 years in healthcare IT.

Strong knowledge of healthcare workflows, terminology, and regulatory requirements.

Experience working with healthcare systems such as EHR/EMR, practice management systems, or claims processing software.

Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficiency with tools like Visio, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Certification in business analysis (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA).

- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare interoperability standards.

- Background in project management or Agile/Scrum environments.

- Experience with data analytics or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
