Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our client with several key initiatives focused on improving internal processes, systems, and technology to deliver greater value to both internal and external stakeholders.

This role involves leading the delivery of short-term, outcome-based projects and collaborating closely with leadership teams, technical resources, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of successfully managing IT and business transformation projects from start to finish, while effectively engaging senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
Lead projects through the full lifecycle — initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

Define project approaches, clarify scope and objectives, and develop actionable plans to achieve desired outcomes.

Work with technical and business teams to deliver solutions that align with organizational needs and timelines.

Facilitate planning sessions, manage Agile ceremonies, and maintain clear documentation such as requirements, user stories, and status reports.

Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule and on budget.

Prepare and present updates to senior stakeholders and steering committees.

Ensure deliverables are completed to a high standard and meet business objectives.

Candidate Requirements
5+ years of experience managing IT system-related projects, using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams, including both internal staff and external vendors.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.

Professional project management designation (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2).

Familiarity with project management and software lifecycle tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Clarity, or similar).

Experience in the public sector or working on large, complex programs is considered an asset.

Background in property assessment, property mapping, or tax policy projects is a plus.
