Description

We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support a large public sector client in enabling Agile practices across the organization.
The role focuses on guiding cross-functional teams in adopting the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), leveraging tools such as Azure DevOps, and working with other enterprise applications to support Agile delivery and value creation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and guide cross-functional, self-organizing teams on Agile principles and SAFe practices.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint/iteration planning, retrospectives, and program increment (PI) planning.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and other stakeholders to manage and prioritize team backlogs.
- Identify and remove impediments to team progress and performance.
- Support the organization’s transition from traditional project-centric approaches to Agile and DevOps practices.
- Ensure adherence to Agile/SAFe frameworks and practices while promoting continuous improvement.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with teams using Agile delivery approaches.
- 3+ years recent experience as a Senior Scrum Master.
- Experience supporting information systems in government or public sector service delivery environments.
- Proven experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, backlog management, and team coaching.
- 2+ years supporting organizational transformation from waterfall to product-centric Agile and/or DevOps approaches.
- Current Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, RSM, SAFe SSM 6).
